What is Watt Mesuré?

Watt Mesuré is an independent site that compares USB-C chargers: chargers for phones, tablets and laptops. Its name (French for “measured watts”) says how it works: watts that were measured, not just the ones printed on the box.

What you’ll find

47 chargers from Apple, Anker, Ugreen, Samsung and Baseus, from 20 to 160 W. For each one: its real power, peak and sustained, how it shares power between ports, its measured heat, its price recorded in official stores, a photo and a to-scale 3D model.

Buying guides by device, by use and by power, a page for each common device, a side-by-side comparison tool and a calculator that picks the charger based on the devices you plug in.

Where the numbers come from

Independent labs and testers (ChargerLAB, ChongDianTou, techtest.org, LTT Labs…), specialist press and manufacturer spec sheets. Every charger page cites its sources; anything not yet measured is flagged as such.

How the ranking works

The same calculation for every charger: first the power each device actually receives, then price, measured heat and power headroom. Nobody pays to rank higher.

Independence

Watt Mesuré belongs to no charger brand and is paid by none. Some links to Amazon are affiliate links: if you buy, the site earns a small commission, at no extra cost to you and with no effect on the ranking.

Who publishes the site

Watt Mesuré is published by Hugo Barale. To report an error, a measurement or a charger to add, the contact details are in the legal notice.
